Commercial surveys
As with buying a home, you should have a full building survey for new commercial premises on which you are taking a lease or which you are considering purchasing.
Whether you are buying or leasing you need to know the condition of the building and the likely repair, refitting and maintenance costs before you commit yourself.
A lease will normally require you to maintain the property in good repair and possibly put it in better repair than at the start of a lease. This could be a major expense at the end of the lease, and it is vital that you know about it beforehand. If there is no obligation in this respect, you need clear evidence of the condition of the building at lease commencement, so we can prepare a Schedule of Condition to be attached to the lease as evidence.
We undertake our surveys in an impartial and professional manner, assessing the property and its condition
